I'm Guillermo Mutiloa, born in Pamplona in 1984. I have a degree in Telecommunications, Image, and Sound Engineering (Public University of Navarra) and a sound technician (ESCIVI Andoain). I've always been involved with music, as a drummer in my teens with bands like Dead Means Nothing, QWER, and Antigua and Barbuda, and as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter in my twenties with Wilhelm and The Dancing Animals.
While still active in collective projects like Exnovios, Colectivo Ostatua, and Pr0t0c0lectiv0, I'm currently more focused on helping other bands with their creative processes, both technically and artistically, in my studio since 2010. I've always been active in alternative music scenes, so a DIY essence permeates my work.
I work between digital and analog with a hybrid tape-hard disk recording system. I like to use OTB components to find sounds and ITB features for technical aspects (editing, tuning, dynamics processing, etc.). I use elements of the studio randomly, thus giving fortuitous results or sound coincidences, trying to make them have weight in the final result if they are attractive.
